Each iMovR solid wood top starts out by being shaped and pre-drilled on advanced, precision CNC equipment, and then lovingly hand-finished in a 7-step heirloom-quality hand-finishing process. No other real wood top you can buy for a standing desk is produced to such exacting quality standards.
Like all iMovR desktops, these solid wood tops are ergo-contoured, with a 1/4"-tangent round-over profile along the entire perimeter, for excellent comfort and wear resistance. Once shaped, the slabs receive multiple passes of hand sanding and staining.
The tops are then finished with a KCMA-rated waterborne sealant, both top and bottom, ensuring long life by reducing the effects of humidity changes on the wood. This low-VOC finish protects the natural wood from moisture, chemicals, abrasion and marring, while being safe for workers and the environment (reduces use of solvents for application and cleaning).
NEAT-certified
The Lander Lite is a NEAT™ (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) certified product; its usage will help combat the negative health effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Standing while working is the first line of defense against sitting disease, as the small movements you make throughout the day while standing increase your body’s energy expenditure and heart rate.
Customize your Lander Lite Desk
Choose from hundreds of color and size options, and a plethora of matching accessories to customize your desk to ergonomic perfection.
Choose your Wood Species and Finish:
Select from 30+ unique solid wood tops that are hand-crafted in Michigan, including Maple, Cherry, Walnut, Oak, and Hickory species.
Tier I
Maple
Silver maple is a highly versatile species grown mostly in the eastern United States, and has color variations from nearly white to light grey. Its lighter color allows us to offer more staining options than with any other species. Silver maple is moderately heavy (36.4 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and moderately shock resistant. Silver Maple is known for its fine, uniform grain.
Tier II
Rustic Walnut
Native to the eastern United States, American black walnut is strong, hard and durable, without being excessively heavy (38 lbs/cu ft). Its color variations are light to dark chocolate brown. Walnut shows a wide range of figures, including strips, burls, mottles, crotches, curls and butts, giving it great character.
Rustic Cherry
Cherry is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from nearly white to light red to dark reddish brown. It is moderately hard, heavy (35 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and highly shock resistant. Cherry is known for its fine to medium, uniform grain. The rustic cherry that was use in our desktops has visible knots and pitch streaks, giving it more character than costlier "select" cherry cuts, making it one of the most distinctive and interesting natural grain patterns for the dollar.
Red Oak
Red oak is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from light tan to pink, to red, to dark brown. This plain sawn oak is probably the most popular hardwood used in modern woodworking. Broad grains give red oak a pronounced appearance. It is heavy (42.5 lbs/cu ft), hard, stiff and highly shock resistant. Red oak has a medium fine, uniform grain.
Hickory
Hickory is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from nearly white to dark brown. The combination of its hardness, strength, toughness, and stiffness are unmatched by any other hardwood. It is very heavy (50.5 lbs/cu ft), very hard, very strong, very stiff and extremely shock resistant. Hickory is known for its fine, uniform grain.
Tier III
Quartersawn White Oak
This very special "quartersawn" cut of the white oak tree is coveted for its incomparable beauty. It is commonly used in Craftsman style homes and furnishings. As compared to riftsawn and flatsawn cuts that are less spectacular, quartersawn has growth rings at angles of 45 to 90 degrees to the wide surface. White Oak is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from creamy white to medium brown. It is a heavy (45.8 lbs/sq ft), strong and very hard wood with high shock resistance and a medium fine, uniform grain.

Select Cherry
Cherry is grown mostly in the eastern United States and has color variations from nearly white to light red to dark reddish brown. It is moderately hard, heavy (35 lbs/cu ft), strong and stiff, and highly shock resistant. Cherry is known for its fine to medium, uniform grain. The select cuts of cherry used for making these tops are free of visible knots, pitch streaks and other imperfections found in "rustic" cuts, and showing off only their beautiful natural grain.
Tier IV
Select Walnut
Native to the eastern United States, American black walnut is strong, hard and durable, without being excessively heavy (38 lbs/cu ft). Its color variations are light to dark chocolate brown. The select cuts of walnut used for making these tops are free of visible knots, pitch streaks and other imperfections found in "rustic" cuts, and showing off only their beautiful natural grain.
Choose your Finish for Bottom of Desktop:
The darker the desktop stain relative to the natural color of the wood, the starker the contrast between the top and bottom of your desktop. We offer three options for finishing the bottom of your desktop:
1. Standard Sealed Bottom: Sprayed with two coats of finish to seal and protect the wood from environmental changes. May show wipe marks from artisan's hand-staining along the edges. Note: Darker stains on lighter-colored woods will show the greatest color variation between top and bottom.
2. Spray Toned Bottom: In addition to standard sealing, the bottom is spray-toned with a stain color similar to the final finish of the desktop. Not as elegant as hand-wiping, but provides better color consistency between the top and bottom as compared to standard sealing. May show occasional wipe marks carried over from hand-wiping the top. A practical choice for masking the color contrast on lighter-colored woods with darker finishes.
3. Heirloom Quality Bottom: Fully-finished to the same superior standards as the top of the desktop. Hand-wiped stain completely eliminates color contrast between top and bottom for all wood options. Keep in mind the most visually-striking side of the wood slab is always selected for the top surface. While the bottom may show a few more minor imperfections, the stain is exquisitely hand-applied on both sides. The most elegant option for matching the top and bottom of your desktop.
Choose your Base Color:
Choose from black or silver base finishes to match your office décor.
Choose your Base Model:
Select the standard single stage base (27.35" - 47.5") or upgrade to the dual stage XT base (pictured) for a wider height range (24" - 50") suitable for shorter and taller users.
Add Grommet Holes:
Add fully finished grommet holes to your desktop for convenient power node placement and easy monitor arm setup.
Choose your Power Management Options:
Unique to iMovR desks is the optional Grommet-Mounted Power Socket that brings charging AC outlets and USB ports to the top of the table. This is ideal for shared workstations where users may want to power their laptops or charge their mobile devices, without having to bend down and search for a free plug along the floor. Silver or black powder-coated finish, with a 72" cord. All tabletops can accommodate one or two such charging nodes.
Choose your Monitor Arm:

For the best ergonomics, you’ll always want to keep your monitor(s) at the proper height, distance, and angles. Monitor arms make moving your monitors easy, so you can find the right monitor position whether you're sitting, standing, or ‘perching’ at your desk. They help keep neck and eye strain at bay, and ensure you work in optimal comfort at all times.

Choose your Keyboard Tray:
An iMovR Trackless Keyboard Tray is an essential part of an ergonomically sound workstation, with up to 15 degrees of tilt for a strain-free typing experience. Your Lander Desk already comes with pre-drilled holes that accommodate this tray—making installation even easier.
Choose your Standing Mat: Sit Less, Stand More, in Comfort

Take care of your feet and get the most out of your new standing desk converter! A good anti-fatigue mat means more hours standing in full comfort, by reducing strain on your back, legs, and feet. iMovR EcoLast Anti-Fatigue Mats are made from 100% polyurethane material and won’t lose their bounce or curl up at the edges like cheaper mats. 100% made-in-America, these mats come with a five-year full-performance warranty, and are completely recyclable.
Manage Your Cables
Keep your cables safe and organized and your new desk tidy with iMovR’s Cable Management Kit. These kits are easy to install, and include a variety of versatile and reusable components to allow you to easily reconfigure your cable bundles time and time again. Most users will want to opt for the Advanced Kit, which includes a 7-outlet surge protector with a 12'-long cord and a 24" cable trough to hold it and any excess cable bundles. Place your surge protector in the trough and make sure its chord has enough slack for your desk to reach its top height. With twelve feet to work with you’ll have plenty of flexibility to place your new desk as far or close to the wall outlet as possible.
Make It Mobile
Need more mobility in your desk? The Lander Caster Wheel set replaces your desk's leveling feet with four locking caster wheels. Now you can slide your desk wherever you want it easily and safely. These caster wheels screw into the recessed threading on the feet of your desk. Just remove the leveling pads, screw in the casters, flip your desk back over—and you’re good to go! Lock the casters when you find an ideal spot for your desk and unlock them when you want to glide to a different one.
